I'm trying my best to integrate my devART, Tribe, MySpace and other web spaces together. I added my devART blog to my profile after researching a bit, and am putting the info her in case ohers might like to do the same.

In the dA help files, I searched for RSS, and found this URL to embed my dA journal (Subscribers only):

h t t p : / / USERNAME.deviantart.com/journal/rss/

(minus the extra spaces)

Back here on Tribe, I went to "edit profile"> "add modules"> "my feed". Typed in a title and pasted the url, then replaced the USERNAME with my actual username. Fiddled with options, and, voila!

Now, my pithy Tribe Blog sits below my more coherent dA Journal. The tribe profile area is updated as I add dA journal pages, and if you click on the entries, it jumps to dA. Yay, technology.

My name is Kat and while I have my own website that gets all of my artwork (www.ladyleopardess.com), I also use dA to keep me more attached with the art community. My art is varied in mediums and types of subject matter. I hope to meet more of you on here to find out the kind of magic that tribe.net members bring to dA. :)

Sorry to burst the bubble, just when I thought here's an oasis of kewl that I'm gonna market my art on:

Nice to look at, but I won't upload any of my stuff there:

If you look at pictures there, they sell prints of member's art--HOWEVER--I just now read the licensing agreement they offer and the terms are pretty bad, I don't think I will put stuff there. Their basic deal says they will split the print sales by half AFTER net cost of producing/shipping, but some of the other terms are too broad....they basically can use your stuff forever even if you cancel the agreement...

GREEDY bastards in hip alternative clothing...

--- + here I find you people. Very cool- I have a dA page@ noxoteus.deviantart.com. I got a wee bit burnt on my activity there when my apprenticeship (tattoo) started getting busier, so not too many posts there as of late. The stuff I'm proudest of is more towards the older gallery pages (things I posted first).

I appreciate the 'cross-pollination' aspect that the mod'r here encourages.

i'm more of a poetry person. i've been writing for the better part of 17 years, though within the last 10-12 my writing has really started to evolve in an excellant way. i do dabble some in photoshop, and photography.

i love da, because it's such a wonderful platform for writers. i had thought to do my own webpage, to get my writing "out there", but, felt rather overwhelmed. when a friend told me about it, i was estatic!
